An hour of life
conversing in Spanish
¡Hola! ¡Holaa!
This is Rebeca!
I am a person who enjoys the simple things in life, and I thank God for that.
My day begins with the alarm clock at 4:45 a.m., accompanied by the sweet song of the yigüirros on rainy days. Getting up early has been a constant practice for years to make the most of the day.
During the week, I spend a few hours teaching Spanish online, but although this is my income, I dedicate most of my time each week to developing another incredible but beautiful project.
I love watching different types of birds, especially hummingbirds, through the windows of my house. They visit us during the flowering months, such as February, March, and part of April. That’s why I plant nectar-rich plants in my yard for them.
I don’t like to cook, but it’s necessary, and I have to. However, my husband loves to cook and often sings while he cooks. Listening to him adds joy to my life.
Well, thanks to factors like God’s favor (mainly), my life of responsibility, discipline, organization, and effort, and the support of my loved ones, I’m able to invite you to converse in Spanish. Yes, converse. Below you’ll find a brief description of my conversation classes.

My conversation classes take place in a stress-free environment. It’s an opportunity to enjoy human interaction while learning Spanish in a private online class.
In my experience, my students don’t speak Spanish perfectly (or only a little), but I adapt the conversation to their level. I use empathy, as I was (and still am) an English student. I correct them and teach them patiently through chat, gestures, sounds, descriptions, and, as a last resort, I use English (because I know English).
Although the conversation flows without stress, there is systematic learning. We develop grammar topics in our classes that respond to the student’s progress. My students usually have their notebooks and pens to take notes, and I give them time to write. If they have questions, they ask them and, of course, they converse while incorporating the learned grammar.
Since we’re talking about an hour of life, there are three essential requirements.
First, the student must want to learn. My students take this class not because they feel the need to speak Spanish as a job or university requirement, but rather out of a sincere desire to learn, and anyone who wants to learn knows that humility and effort go hand in hand.
Second, it’s essential that the student participate. My students don’t speak Spanish perfectly, but that doesn’t impede communication. They take an active role while I provide them with communication tools to help them with pronunciation, fluency, and speaking.
And finally, my students are usually busy, but not overly busy. They have the freedom to include an hour of Spanish class in their weekly schedule.
So, if you’re a woman who wants to converse stress-free in Spanish, learn it systematically and actively, and have the flexibility to schedule a weekly online class, this invitation is for you.
This one-hour class costs $15 and is payable via PayPal. You can contact me by writing to [email protected] or [email protected]
See you in class!
